NYX ❤ RUNWAY COLLECTION IN "CHAMPAGNE & CAVIAR"

So here's another review about NYX ❤ 10 color Eyeshadow Palette and it's in their Runway Collection, and before i get to the review, i am so sorry if i didn't take a picture of the palettes name ("STUPID ME") ...

The palettes name is in "Champagne & Caviar" and this palette is my all time favorite neutral color. And yes i do consider them in Neutral color because here's how the eyeshadow color looks like :)

My eyeshadows looks cracked because i accidentally dropped it on the floor :'(

again "STUPID DUMB JOANNA!!!!" :(

But it's still in shape , meaning it's still works for applications.  I mentioned earlier that i consider these amazing eyeshadows neutrals because there are a lot of shades from a light brow to a red brown to dark brown. Plus there's a pink eyeshadow if you wanna go sweet and girly, and also if you wanna go a bit chic and elegance then there's a soft beige color and a matte light brown with a mixture of grey. 

And also the palette can be a Day to Night look, like you can see there's a black eyeshadow on the bottom right, means you can smoke your eyes a little bit when your finished with school or work and going out with your girlfriends and decided to make you day time look to a Night eye look.

wew! that was a long EXPLANATION... hehehehehe!

Now for the swatch! yey! i do love to swatch eyeshadows.

Again i did compare the color with a flash & without the flash of the camera:

With a Flash:

Now i am pretty impressed with the colors turned out with the camera capturing it with a flash, because the eyeshadow colors really does pop's out. Just take a look on those shimmery eyeshadows. Pretty amazing! :) 

Without The flash :
Now with out the flash i did notice that it's not that really shimmery compared to the picture above. Plus the colors are really neutral. And honestly i did swath them about three times with my ring finger. And look at it, very pigmented and my expectations did meat pretty AMAZING.

I don't have any CONS  for these pretty eyeshadows because it works perfectly amazing for my self and it's so versatile.

NYX ❤ SMOKEY EYES PALETTE

So here's my review on the Smokey eye palette of NYX and yes i am obsessed with smokey eyes because if i do my eyes with a tint of smokiness in it, it does makes much difference & has a striking look to my eyes because actually in person my eyes with make up or even eyeliner/ gel liner geeez! I LOOK LIKE DROOPY DOG :/ (hehehehehe) seriously it's true..

so i do need to emphasize my eyes well before i go out, but i do not wear too much make up just with a gel liner on my top lids of my eyes & underneath my waterlines i'm good to go. And oh also i never leave the house without my NYX ROUGE CREAM BLUSH in "natural", and also lip stick & lip gloss of course! :D

Okay enough of this BLAH! BLAH! thing that i just wrote, back to my review......

Here's a close up look of the palette :

The colors are so pigmented of what i didn't expect but i do like it ^_^

Here's a sample of my swatches of the palette & i did compare it with a flash & with flash of my camera:

Without Flash:

I did notice one thing without the flash of my camera, starting at the right side the shimmery peach color looks a bit like a creamy white.

With Flash:

The colors are so pigmented and you can tell about the Greys, browns , silver and also the vanilla color. And again the Peach color turned out a bit white again with a flash of my camera.

PROS:

1.  The palette works great if your a type of girl who wants a smokey eye look.
2. If you want those extreme smokiness look the eyeshadows in Black, dark brown, & dark silver are the perfect color on the palette.
3. For highlight? The vanilla color is my favorite for highlight.
4. You just need two dabs of your brush for smoking out your look because it is very pigmented & it's a good thing.

CONS:

One thing that bother's me a bit , now this is my own opinion okay? i do wish that some of the eyeshadows will be a bit less shimmer's in it because some of the colors are having a bit of shimmer's, and it tends to make a bit fall out's.

NYX single eyeshadows

NYX SINGLE EYESHADOWS

FROSTED FLAKES, TAUPE, FROSTED OCEAN

These single eyeshadows are richly pigmented and the color is so amazing that it's not that chalky and it's a brilliant eyeshadow.

FROSTED FLAKES

This is the type of eyeshadow that catches my eye, because the color of this eyeshadow looks almost like what Hayley Williams wore on her music video "MONSTER" while floating and singing on water, so flawless and breath taking look hehehehehehe! anyways i do love the color it's so amazing with it's pigmented color it can make your eyes pop and stand out. 

see how pigmented this type of eyeshadow is? i just had 2 swipes of my finger and that's the result.

TAUPE

i was so interested with this type of eyeshadow because i heard a lot of positive feed back about this. ANd so why not buy 1 and give it a try. And yep! it did impress me because it wasn't i was expecting to be chalky but it's not & that's another good thing :)

This is great for the inner sockets of my eyes because in some of my tutorials i do define my sockets to make them more dimension and it really looks good on my eyes :)

yup i know it's a bit shimmery but in reality without the flash of the camera it's not that shimmery. With just One swipe it won't show that much, so it needs two to three swipes with your finger or a brush depending on how much amount you wanna put onto your lids.

FROSTED OCEAN

 

This eyeshadow blew up my mind! (heheheehehe!!) LIKE FOR REAL it did ^_^ . This type of eyeshadow is amazingly GORGEOUS !!! the color is what i love most. It's like a mysterious darkish blue type of eyeshadow that is so great for sultry , Smokey looks., or even in some other makeup looks.

It's really pigmented 1 swipe is enough and you could just blend away it with your fluffy brush to smoke it out on your upper crease.

with the flash of the camera :)

One swipe is enough like as you can tell, it's again really really pigmented :)

PROS:

• It's not too chalky
• it gives you that vibrant color
• it's PIGMENTED goood :)
• The Price for this was also on Sale it was around P90.00 - P100.00 i guess i forgot so sorry :(

CONS:

• The thing that i do not like is that you have to be really careful not to drop them, otherwise it's a goner! LIKE BOOM! so the main thing is not to accidentally drop them or else good bye eyeshadow..

WOULD YOU RECOMMEND THIS:

Yes, it's really great using these eyeshadows, if you want that intensifying pigmented eyeshadow, well nyx's single eyeshadow are the best ones :)
